Before its successor Potato Head Beach Club Bali, Potato Head, Jakarta first made its signature as a bistro and bar that brought together an amalgamation of international cuisine, arts, and crafted cocktail under one roof. Its facade became a distinct visual invitation to those with an eye and appreciation for design, and the cuisines and cocktails are a match for those longing to enjoy the delicacy of international comfort food and innovative cocktails created by the finest chefs and Mixologist.
A stunning attraction in itself, Potato Head Beach Club is exclusively designed with its impressive sky-high and geometric facade. "We wanted to create something original from Indonesia that could be seen and enjoyed by the Indonesian and international audience. As a local venture, we wanted to make our presence felt within the international scene and Bali seems to be the perfect stepping stone," says co-owner Ronald Akili.
Lilin conceptualizes in the authentic taste of home cooked Asian cuisine. Polished with wooden walls and a long wooden communal table, Lilin reconciles a simplified atmosphere that highlights comfort and intimacy in gatherings, while leaving out its colors to the vibrant flavors of its menu.
Set on the second story of the Beach Club, Tapping Shoes is designed with an intimate setting of hanging chandeliers and French windows that overlooks the coastline. The menu is created under the direction and hands of a Japanese chef that successfully reinterprets and elevates the French dining experience.
