Introducing Attarine Bali

Attarine, Potato Head Family’s fresh and simple Mediterranean-style restaurant concept, lands in the emerging neighbourhood of Berawa this summer.

For this sustainably-led project, we are converting an old oceanfront villa into a beach house and grill, a more laidback rendering of the Attarine brand. Complementing the grill, the beach house area will feature sand floors, two pools, various seating areas and plenty of outside space.

In contrast to our city outlet in Jakarta, Attarine Bali will have beach access and ocean breezes, welcoming sun worshippers, surfers and families during the day with events and live DJs attracting a slightly different crowd in the evenings.

A refurbished antique joglo (traditional Javanese house) will provide a dramatic entrance to the restaurant which has been constructed using recycled, found and natural materials throughout. Two brick hearths will be the focal points of the open kitchen, where guests can watch the chefs fire-grilling their dinner on open flames.

Created by Chef Jacob Burrell, Attarine Bali’s menu will rotate a selection of small plates showcasing fresh seasonal vegetables, salads, toasts, cold meats, cured fish and shellfish, alongside a selection of protein-based mains.
