While we can’t disclose the name of the act, as one half of a Grammy-nominated electronic duo from the UK, our mystery guest selector is no stranger to the Beach Club, coming back for a third set on the Island of the Gods.
Joining our international guest DJ on the bamboo NYE 2017 stage will be Latin-American-inspired soul and funk outfit The Cuban Brothers and DJ Pete Herbert (UK).
The Cuban Brothers are a UK-based four-piece whose unmistakeable performances blend soulful funk sounds with rowdy comedic aspects and b-boy dance moves.
Over their 20-year musical career, they’ve sold out shows around the world, shared the stage with icons like The Prodigy, Roy Ayers, Q-Tip and James Brown, and performed at the private parties of stars like Richard Branson and Robbie Williams.
British DJ, producer and remixer Pete Herbert began his musical career began in the early ’90s when he established Atlas Record Shop in London’s Soho. His trademark sets, which blend nostalgic house tracks with disco, Balearic and everything in between, have landed him residencies at London institutions like Fabric and Ministry of Sound as well as regular festival gigs in Croatia, Brazil and across the UK.
The Beach Club’s resident selectors, Paul T, Dean Dixon and Stuart Mclellan, will be providing musical support throughout the night while our secret guest will throw down a special late-night set to ring in the New Year in true Bali style.
