Ever wondered how to play the gendèr, turn an old t-shirt into a tote bag or make environmentally friendly soaps?

These are just a few of the lessons learned at Sustainable Sundays, the family-friendly workshops we hold once a month in collaboration with Green School Bali. The Ubud institution—founded by John and Cynthia Hardy—is leading the way for future green leaders by teaching children about our history and how to protect the earth for years to come.

This weekend is our fourth in the series, so grab your little ones and join the fun by heading to Potato Head Beach Club from 4-6pm. Adults are welcome to get involved as well, so mark your calendars for the first Sunday of every month to learn more about Bali’s ancient traditions and ways to sustain our beautiful island home.

We’ve also teamed up with the world-renowned school to raise money for its Change Maker programme, which supports Balinese children by offering them a free education. In addition to tuition fees, funding for workshops, counselling, field trips and school supplies is also provided. You can donate online or in Bali at Potato Head Beach Club or Katamama Hotel.
